Creating Standalone AdSurfaces

There are ad surfaces that exist on the game level, and there is nothing needed for it, but except for a game to be created in your organization. This type of ad surfaces is the easiest to create compared to ad surfaces in the ownable assets or branded assets. Such ad surfaces (that could also be called standalone ad surfaces) exist on the game level and are tied to a game itself rather than to a particular asset.
To get an access to such ad surfaces, navigate to the games inside your organization. Select the game for which you want to create the standalone ad surface. Navigate to the ad surfaces tab and click on the new ad surface button. In there as with any other AdSurface you can select whether it's going to be a banner or a video.
In the ad surface configuration, as with any other head surface, you can set up the resolution which this head surface accepts, the interactivity for it, whether the ad surface is interactive or static, and the placeholder file for the ad surface file defining the content that will be used if no applicable ad will be available for this ad surface (look at it as at a default placeholder once no ad is available for serving)
Once we set up our ad surface with needed parameters and clicked on Add, the ad surface will be created, and the unique ID will be generated for it.
Now, we created our first standalone ad surface that can be implemented within our game to have advertisements on it that are not tied up to any particular asset and exist on the game level. You can see sections about ownable assets, to see how to add ad surfaces for the assets created within a game, and see branded assets to understand how to implement ad surfaces created within branded assets.
